Nick NewmontDear Friends,
This newsletter is going on hiatus until September.

Summer is here!. We have wound our way to the conclusion of another school year. Are you already making plans for a fun summer? I highly recommend to everyone, no matter what your circumstances are to make time to play- no matter how young you are. For those of us who live in southern California a day at the beach is a mini vacation. On a physical level, a day at the beach balances our negative and positive ions, which in turn lowers stress levels.  Stress is a mental thing that we internalize in the body. The way to counteract stress is to do something physical. If the beach is not for you, go for a hike on a trail where you have to pay attention to the path and terrain as a distraction which takes your mind off stressful issues…just a thought.

I witness clients becoming stressed and panicky when going through growth phases. Growth phases are times of gaining strength. Growth phases feel as of the walls are closing in. However, the walls are not closing in or the ceiling caving in; it is you pushing against the walls and the ceiling. In a recent therapy session for success enhancement, the client experienced limited income potential due to childhood conditions. This creates a false ceiling or as referred to in pro sports as a salary cap. The result is “I can only earn so much doing what I do.” I used the acoustical ceiling tiles as the perfect analogy to counteract his perceived income potential. Just because we see the ceiling tiles, does not mean this is as high as we can go. If we removed the acoustical tiles (the false ceiling) we would see there is a lot more space above…room to grow. During Southern California’s June gloom we hear the traffic ‘copter pilots referring to the clouds as a low ceiling. We see the grey clouds but is it really a ceiling? No of course not. It is a figurative limitation. These are the times to raise the ceiling and remove limitations.

When you understand the Laws, then you understand that it is not more difficult to create a castle than it is a button. They are equal. It is not more difficult to create $10 million than $100,000. It is the same application of the same Law to two different intentions. Excerpted from "The Law of Attraction, The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham"

When you are thinking or worrying about an amount of money you need to meet a deadline, the emotional response you feel usually is not a good one. Therefore it creates an associated negative feeling, such as desperation or depression, with manifesting money. Focusing on the needed amount supports the ceiling theory and the individual is continually coming from a place of lack.

When you focus your thoughts and attention on a higher amount that you would like to have, the emotional response is going to be much higher. The concept of desiring something feels much better than needing something, thus raising your vibration. Focus on what you want and enjoy the results- and have a great summer!
